server build with iLo2

We do a lot of deployments where installation speed is not necessarily an issue. When trying to build a server using the Smartstart CD and vitual media (from own laptop), the installation starts OK, but hangs on the eject of the Smartstart Cd. I would assume this is when it is asking for the Windows media, but is unable to eject the local CD/DVD. The system just hangs. anyone come across this before?

Disconnect the virtual media before you try to remove the Smart start.
After you insert the Windows CD connect the Virtual media again.
Are you trying to remove the Smart start without disconnecting the virtual media?

we're using Smartstart 7.91 with a licensed copy of iLO2. I'll give the disconnect virtual media a go and let you know. thanks for the tip.
