services stop when writing to storage
I have a strange problem with DL380G4. SmartArray 6i controller with 6*146Gb HDD in RAID5 with 16K Stripe size and without writing cache anable(100% Read cache).
When someone from LAN is coping files to shared disck(writing to logical drive ) all other services on the servers is stop. The server doesn't respond (http service, shared files, print spooling, terminal service dosen't respond). The NIC (internal nc77xx)is working on 1000Gb/s Full duplex and configuring by default. NO network errors available in this time. The ping from another PC is normal when coping files. No errors in logs, no errors in SIM. It's seems like NIC is working for only one PC in this time.
So what happening? I don't know where can I find the bottle neck, or configuration error... Please help.
Thx.

Re: services stop when writing to storage
What is the host OS?
This sounds like an I/O wait situation eating up the system. I think if you wait long enough it might respond.
Let us know.
