setup RAID on HP ML310G5

Dear all
I have 2 HDD 160Gb SATA2 anh want setup RAID, when i insert disk HP SmartStart 8.00, it recognized 1 HDD. what's problem? help me
thank a lot.
Card raid is:
HP SC40Ge SAS HBA with RAID 0, 1 in a PCIe slot

Obvious question but is the array already configured as a mirror so you see the capacity of one disk with no other storage available? Do you see both disks in the raid BIOS?

Yes, I see 2 HDD in BIOS.

well Smartstart CD only supports Smart array controllers not SAS HBAs or SATA embedded controllers

so you have to setup your RAID manually

and install windows manually

I did and setup RAID1 successful.
