I have two external drives @ 18.2GB each. After I configure them the win2k advanced server on node 1 recognizes one 15.9 BB drive and one 1 BB drive. Why?? I think it only sees one drive because it's stripped DUHH, but why is the drive recognized as two disks?

You will see three drives in disk manager after install one logical and two Physical.
if you left * meg you can convert the first disk to Dynamic and reboot the other two will go away.
