solaris 8 x86 install, proliant dl380 (1st gen)
hello,
I installed solaris 8 on proliant dl380 a few months ago. now i have to add a tape drive (compaq 12/24gb internal).
I set scsi ID to 5, but after doing boot -r or touch /reconfigure, it still doesn't see tape drive.
I was thinking that I may have to add tape drivers from the HP SP21874 download file. This is the same file where I got the RAID controller drivers from to install that box.
Is this correct? I've never had to add a scsi tape drive to solaris 8 before.
Thanks,
Oskar
