status Ready for rebuild
hello
I├в m a newbie, I have a Proliant DL380 G4 with Windows 2000 server, using the system management I saw that the Logical drives are in "Ready for rebuild" status, my question is how can I start the rebuilding ? this status has been since 3 days ago!!!

Re: status Ready for rebuild
Hi Roberto,
Did you ever get a fix for this problem?
We have just replaced a failed disk in an ML530. It is part of a raid set which has two logical disks on it, one of the logical disks fully rebuilt, the second is now shown as 'queued' and 'waiting for rebuild'.
We are considering pulling the replacement disk and trying a different disk.
regards,
Andy

Re: status Ready for rebuild
Ever solved this without backup/scratch/restore of data?

Re: status Ready for rebuild
any solution to this?
I see that my Logical drive says "Ready for rebuild" after replacing a faulty drive. A lot of disk activity, but it hasn't come online. I've heard a reboot may kick-start the rebuilding process, but have yet to try that.
