system partition utility
hello,
I want to install my proliant 5000 completely new with windows 2000. During the installation, I deleted the "system partition utilities" (you press F10 to open them) on the system drive, which where installed there before. I tried to install the system partition utilities with the SmartStart 5.10 CD once again, but I was not successful. Which tool on the SmartStart CD do I have to use? What is the correct procedure?
Thank you for your help.
Sabine

Re: system partition utility
It's not a big deal if you do not install the F10 partition.
Since this is a clean install what you can do is bootup with SS5.1 and run a system erase. This will wipe out everything. DATA DESTRUCTIVE. Next run the Array Configuration Utility and create your array. After this reboot you should have an option for Install/Update system Partition.
IF you are still having problems, please give me your e-mail address and then we can swap phone numbers and I'll give you a call.
