the Overtemp LED - amber during boot. The boot in a loop does not pass POST

As in the subjest,

The server reboots all over again does not get to POST test. The amber LED "overtemp" gets on.

You didn't mention what model server you have.

As suggested in the other reply, you should specify what server model you have.

If you have a fan failure in one of the critical locations on certain servers, the server will boot up and show a quick display saying the server is in an unsupported thermal mode and then shut down.
