uninstall proliant support pack (PSP)
Hi @,
many posts are dealing with installing PSPs but no one is handling uninstallation. Serveral services are not uninstalled when doing an uninstallation over Add/Remove Programs.
Is there any one out there who was able to uninstall:
"Compaq Remote Monitor Service" ??
"HP Proliant Rack Infrastructure Interface Service" ??
"HP Proliant Shutdown Service" ??
Or do I have to do it manually in the Registry?

Re: uninstall proliant support pack (PSP)
Hello Alexander,
Usually when you install another PSP over the current it over rides all the settings. You do get a warning that the current PSP is of a higher version then what you are installing (assuming you're downreving the PSP). You just have to say continue and it does the trick.
Regards,

Re: uninstall proliant support pack (PSP)
Hi Sunil,
if I want to get completetly rid of the PSP and do not want to install an earlier version, how does it work then?
Thanks
Alex
