upgrade firmware to 2.82a4 on a FC2143 AD167A card

My SAN provider has asked me to update the firmware on a FC2143 AD167A card to 2.82a4 (A DL 585 G1 server). There are two separate sections of the HP website relevant to this. 

One section for the FC2143 card suggests using firmware CD 8.20. This has "HP Firmware Flash for Emulex Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters 2008.07.15". The firmware version is not stated.

Another section has the 2.82a4 firmware at http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=3185350&swItem=co-82798-1&prodNameId=1833540&swEnvOID=54&swLang=8&mode=3 . This section allows the download of a .all file, but does not give any instructions for install. I either need

-instructions on how to use the .all file to update the adapter

or 

-confirmation of the firmware version in the "HP Firmware Flash for Emulex Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters 2008.07.15".

The release notes doesn't clarify it for you?

There is a tool called HBAnywhere. That would be my bet. There might be more information about this on emulex's webpage.

I believe the procedure for how to use the .all file / do the upgrade would be different depending on what OS you use.

This msg  thread appears to a super old but hopefully if someone is attempting to "stretch that non-existent budget dollar" benefits from this post.

I have successfully updated the firmware for a few DL380 G5 using a FC2143 (cross reference to Emulex LP1150) within Windows 2008 R2.  Apparently there is no convenient bootable ISO with the latest available firmware release.

Now I have firmware version: 2.8.2x4  ( ??? vs 2.8.2a4 ... see below )

So I used the following links:
