upgrade or renew
Hi, I'm getting conflicting advice on our "ancient" proliant g5. I've been told it can be upgraded and the new windows server and sage 200 suite can be installed with no issues and there would be little risk. Another re-seller has said this would not work that a six year old server is so unstable that it wouldn't even install the sage upgrade and I'd have to bin it in two years anyway as I wouldn't be able to get the parts.
Obviously both are competing for the work but both claim to be right. Can i upgarde and save the thick end of 4k safely?
Thank you
