using 2.5 inch SATA drives on a dl585 g2

Hi,

I'm trying to use SATA drives on a dl585 g2 -- the specs say that the maximum size drive that the box will recognize is 120GB -- that seems a bit small to me ... has anyone tried larger drives say 500gb.

Thanks,

Arman.

Hey, instead check how large drives the disk controller can handle.

Do you have a P400 in your DL585 G2?

Quickspecs for the P400 has 2TB SATA drives:
