video drivers

Anyone know what video card is in this machine? I can't get Linux to display a resolution of 1024*768, only 800*600 which cuts off most windows making them useless.

You either have a Cirrus Logic CL-54M20 or a Cirrus Logic CL-54M30. there is some problems in redhat with cirrus logic chipsets which gives this resolution limmitation, and there is no current way of going to 1024 x 768
