vlan trunking problem on dl 360 g5 + win 2008 + ncu 9.35
I want to make a trunk with 2 vlans :
vlan 100 192.168.102.10/24 192.168.102.1
vlan 1 192.168.101.13/24 192.168.101.1
When I finiehed to make the 2 vlans and put IP addresses to virtual card, I could not ping any gw (192.168.102.1 and 192.168.101.1).
I got reponse comming from 192.168.101.13 when trying to ping gw 192.168.102.1.
I'm sure that I've configured correctly vlan on my switch (DLink DGS-3324 SRi).
I think it's related to win 2008 or ncu because I made the same thing on a dl 360 g5 but with windows 2003 sp2 and it works.
Anyone can help or had the same problem ?
Thanks in advance

uninstall the current ones
reboot your server and install the ones above

Re: vlan trunking problem on dl 360 g5 + win 2008 + ncu 9.35
Update of driver and nu permit me to ping my gateway.
But It seems that I an not ping computers on vlan 1 when vlan 100 is present: I need to make further tests to confirm that.
My win 2008 is x32 and it seems that I'm faced with the symptoms that Lmm described.
I will confirm with further tests.
Thanks

Re: vlan trunking problem on dl 360 g5 + win 2008 + ncu 9.35
This is not the case in win 2003 : packets in native vlan are not tagged.
Hope this can help anyone.
