vmware and DVD-ROM unrecognized

Hello all,

Server: HP ML350 G5
OS: Windows 2003 Server FR
Vmware: VMware ESX Update 3

so in-dash vmware, the DVD-ROM (SATA) is unrecognized.
the firmware is up to date.

all hard disk drive (raid) are recognized but not the DVD-ROM recorder.

if someone has an idea...

Is it not recognized in the Infrastructure client or while trying to load ESX?

no, in the Windows 2003 Server, the optical drive is ok.

my problem is just in the vmware, in Device Manager VMware.
