volume becomes unavailable
I have three drives in my server 2- 18 GB ultra SCSI 3 7200 rpm plug able, 1- 36 GB ultra SCSI 3 1000 rpm plug able. The volume that resides on the 36 GB drive intermittently loses track of files and makes itself unavailable. The problem is temporarily fixed by a dismount and remount of the volume. The problem only happens on the 36 GB drive. I have replaced the drive with an identical one. no luck. Could this be a problem of different speed drives being on the same SCSI bus? If so can it be fixed by removing drive from hot plug case and installing in other drive bays?
Thanks
