warranty options part

How i can proccess a warranty if i dont have the spare part and only i have the option part

for example : 257913-B21
I found the spare part but in the compaq/csn dont found this ..

can you helpme please

The spare part number for the processor contained in the option kit you mentioned is 290558-001 (with heatsink). It is also available in the following two spare part numbers:

284645-001 - no heatsink
249144-001 - this comes with a heatsink

Unless you purchase the item as new, you have to use one of the spare part numbers in CSN or call 800-OK-COMPAQ for help.
