what is the correct 'lights out' card for proliant 5500

hello,
what is the correct 'lights out' card for a proliant 5500. I have a client that wants to be able to remotely turn on or off their servers. They have approx. 8 proliant 5500 servers.

Thanks,

Oskar

Re: what is the correct 'lights out' card for proliant 5500

so, it looks like the 'virtual power' button is not available for the proliant 5500's?
Is this correct?
So, I tell them that the lights out cards can't do that for them?

Are there other products that do the same thing or similar?

Thanks,
Oskar

Q) so, it looks like the 'virtual power' button is not available for the proliant 5500's? Is this correct?

A) YES

Q) So, I tell them that the lights out cards can't do that for them?

A) Depends what are the requirement. It will work only thing you cannot power down the server remotely. But you can veiw and manage the server.

Q) Are there other products that do the same thing or similar?

A) Not from HP since we are workin on HP servers only.
