what is the principle of detection of counterfeit parts
hi
sorry to post it here
last month i bought some parts e.g. hdd SAS146 and use it on my Proliant DL380
after one week I doubt it! and now i realized that it was not original.
now i have a question, how can detect original hardware from counterfeit parts?
is there any customers service page to Inquiry about this?
any helpful guide will be appreciated
Thank in Advance

Re: what is the principle of detection of counterfeit parts
I think the Support Comunication - Customer Notice named "Is It the HPE Way? Verification of Authentic HPE Universal Hard Drives (SAS, SATA, FATA, SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel), Solid State Drives (SSDs), and PCIe IO Accelerator Cards (ioDrives)" is exactly what you're looking for.
Look at it here.

Re: what is the principle of detection of counterfeit parts
Please, read it carefully: it's not just about counterfit HDD only...
