where to download the SCSI3 Hot plug disks firmware

Hi,

I've been searching through the forums, HP Website and Google to find the location where I can find the latest USCSI3 Hot plug disks firmware and the how-to to do the firmware upgrade.
Until now without any luck...
Is there anybody who can help me?

I would try to boot the latest smartstart firmware CD.

Tried it with the latest Firmware CD (8.50) but it only saw the Array 5i controller no disks

Maybe there are no updates for your disks?
I cannot tell because I don't know what disks you have ...

They are 18.2 and 72.8 GB disk, and when starting the SA controller states that the disksfirmware should be upgraded
I'm going home today, and I won't be able to check the disks the rest of the week (have to be at other customers...)
at the moment the servers runs, but we're afraid when it stops running. the server just hangs at initializing the array controller and sometimes we get it running (after restarting the server a zillion times ;-) )so at the moment we keep the server running until we get the new server, but I wanted to know where I could find the firmware for the next time this happens to me...

To check anything you need to know the exact disk model and the currently installed firmware, e.g. disk BD03695A27 with HPB8 C delivered by CP007997.scexe.

Searching for this disk will point to the smartstart CD.

Can you post the exact message from the SA controller?
