which model / type support SAS FRU 6Gb SAS

hello all,

 

I intend to use HP servers,

which server model/type support with SAS FRU 3.5'' HDD 6Gb SAS?

because i have more HDD 2TB SAS FRU not used in the office and i want to use it for new server.

if you dont mind, please give me some info, what model/type HP server i can use for this HDD?

Hi, 

 

HP's disk carriers have changed a bit recently. So the disks in Gen8/9 don't work in disks with Gen7 carriers.

Need a more specific list of the type of disk you have to answer correctly.

Of course all newer server support 2TB SAS disks.

actully this HDD ex unusage Storage machine i have, I hope this hard drive can be used in the HP server.

In general 2TB Seagate 6Gb SAS drives should be fine, I got a bunch of them (but then they are HP branded).

But will it work? Not sure.. haven't tried with non-HP drives myself.
