windows 2008 r2 deployment issue with dl 360 G9 servers

Hello,

I need to deploy windows 2008 R2 on HP proliant DL 360 Gen9 servers (HP Smart Array P440ar/2G FIO Controller). Server is in legacy boot bios mode.

I do deployment with windows deployment services and get an error (screenshot below). Installation is succesfull but after reboot error pops out.

I am able to install and boot windows if I do install windows via mounted windows ISO via ilo.

How could I resolve this issue?

raid controler firmware is 2.14.  

I have disabled HP Dynamic Smart Array (Software RAID) on server.

It do not help.

Error shows that file HPpSA.sys is missing or corrupt. But on server which I was able to install and boot via windows ISO connected via iLO, there is no such file.

Are you will install in RAID mode ?  or AHCI mode ?

how many hard drive do you have?

No AHCI mode for the P440a, but you can select RAID or HBA mode.

I use raid mode. Server has 2x HP 600 GB hdd in raid1.

Are you tried install with Intelligent Provisioning ?
