SolutionThe Chassis serial number has not been set.
I have seen this happen from the factory, but mostly it happen during system I/O bd replacement. Whoever replace the board forget to set Chassis s/n and p/n.
It's very easy to fix.
reboot the server and enter the RBSU (BIOS setup).
Select advanced
Select service options.
Select set system serial number - Enter the s/n, use Uppercase letters.
Select set Product number - Enter the product number (ei. 123456-B12), You will find it on the s/n tab and/or the chassis.
Also - Check time and date.
Optional: I would reset the BIOS setup to default (Factory), but be carefull, not to erase the RAID! Read carefully and don't choose wrong.
I would also reset the ILo - Open ILo setup during POST - F8 - Chosse set default (Just aboave exit). This will reset the ILo settings, except from the user accounts / passwords.
