0080-51 error and 0090-64 error

I have 2 Netserver Lpr servers. We receive the message during boot 0080-51 Netserver Management Controller Selftest Failure, and 0090-64 DIMM mamagement Failure. I have run the procedure to clear the cmos error by by switching the dip switch #5 switch to the on position. power off the server for 5 min. Then turn the #5 DS to off. Also ran the flashmmc lprra_us.bin and the sdredit -w -f list_lpr.sdr procedure. That worked. My other server is a production server that we use the "F1" key to continue thru it. My boss wants reassurance that the above mentioned procedure will not cause any outages. Can somebody provide me with some additional info or steps that can be taken to ensure that things will not become worse than they are
