10 TB disks in HP p410 controller

Hello good day.

I have a question about this HP p410 controller and the 10 TB disks, since I do not know if they are currently compatible.

Currently the configuration I have on the HP Poliant Microserver G8 server is that of two 120GB SSD drives in RAID1, and in the bays I have four 6TB drives in RAID0, all managed from Intelligent Provisioning in hardware raid.

I would like to be able to change the four 6 TB disks, for four 10 TB disks, but as I said before I do not know if the controller will accept these larger disks.

Let's see if anyone can help me solve this doubt I have.

Thank you very much and greetings!

Re: 10 TB disks in HP p410 controller

Hello,

According to the Microserver Gen8 and P410 QuickSpecs, this server or controller supports max 4TB drives.

Microserver's Maximum Internal Storage = 16TB (4 x 4TB) 3.5" SATA

Thank You!

Thanks for answering. The controller is currently handling six disks, two 120GB SSD drives in RAID1 and four 6TB drives in RAID0.
