1850R and USB 2.0

I know they are not expensive these days, but before I buy one, can someone tell me if a PCI USB 2.0 card works on a Pentium II 450 Dual CPU 1850R? I just had one donated to my church, and adding disk would be easier if I could put a card in.

Joseph,

Your question prompted me to look into the Fedore Core 2. I now have a 2 port PCI USB card with a NEC chip installed and working. This chip set is supported by the configuration program, and with some tweaking of the hot plug module I can mount up external hard drives.
