300GB HDD with 6400 array controller
Hi. I have a 6400 array controller, with 2 external storage MSA30 (i think so). Will be using 20x 300GB HDD, to form 2x RAID-1 array. 14x 300GB as one and the other 6.
Frist, need to know the 6400 array controller firmware is 2.78, does it support the configuration?
Last, using Windows 2003 SP1, any issue? I want to have a single drive, therefore will spanned the 2 array into 1 drive, that gives 2.9TB. Can Win2003 support or any configuration needed? Thanks.

Re: 300GB HDD with 6400 array controller
Hello,
As per the quickspecs,
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11587_div/11587_div.html#Technical%20Specifications
This is quite possible in case the controller you have, has 4 channels.
James
