Adding SATA drive to Proliant ML150

I have a Proliant ML150 Server with two 73GB SCSI drives. These are drives C: and D: in my system (no RAID configured).
I have acquired a 1TB SATA drive and tried adding it to this system connected to the first SATA port on the motherboard. When I power up, the system tries to boot from the new SATA drive not the original SCSI drive C:.
I have tried the SATA drive with the jumper in various positions all to no avail.

Why does my system insist on booting from the new SATA drive and not the original SCSI drive C:?

Modify BOOT PRIORITY in your BIOS, SATA is propably FIRST to BOOT.
When you are giving points It's like saying Thank You :-)
