Adding USB 2.0 support to Proliant 1600

I have a Proliant 1600 Server and want to add a USB 2.0 PCI card so I can attach external drives. I'm trying to find which USB cards would be compatible. Will any USB card do or not?

I think any USB PCI 2.0 card should be supported. its recommneded that you buy a HP one.
