Adding an Autoloader External Tape Drive to a Proliant ML350

We have hooked up a Quantum Superloader 3 to one of the SCSI ports on the Compaq 64-bit Wide Ultra3 SCSI adapter, but it only detects the Tape Drive and not the Autoloader. This is a multi-Lun device, so should the controller just detect this, or is there a setting somewhere that I can change? Does it matter which SCSI port it is plugged into? I ran the SmartStart CD but it didn't seem to have any configurable settings.

I have this problem with HP DL380G3 & Autoloader HP SSL1016. HP SSL1016 was plugged into SCSI port on HP DL380, but it only detects the Tape Drive. I inserted Compaq SCSI Card (with 2 SCSI ports) into PCI-X slot. Plug HP SSL1016 into Compaq SCSI card and after system detect Tape Drive & Autoloader :)

Aleksey, DL380 external SCSI port is port of RAID controller and it cannot be attached to autoloader.
But Randall use simple SCSI card. This SCSI card must support LUN adressing mode, I'm not sure does such support exist in Compaq 64-bit Wide Ultra3 SCSI adapter.
