Automatically configuring iLO settings without a password
I am trying to automate the deployment of our servers, and one of the last parts remaining is ilo settings - currently, we must add a new user and change the network hostname manually. I'd like to automate this, and figured out how to do so using the hponcfg.exe command-line tool.
However, the problem is that in the XML files, this tool seems to always require an ilo username and password to do anything, and I can't see how to automate that for deployment purposes.
I notice the graphical iLO Online Configuration Utility tool does not require a username or password to change settings (provided you're logged in as an administrator). So, I'm wondering if there is a way to get the command-line utility to behave in a similar manner.
