Can I run a DL380 G3 on modified PWM sine wave inverter/UPS?

I have four DL380 G3's and wanted to know if I can run them on a Tripp Lite APS1250 inverter/UPS? (http://www.provantage.com/tripp-lite-aps1250~7TRPI01M.htm). Their tech support told me "this unit puts out a modified PWM sine wave, and does not have a Pure/Clean computer grade sine wave." If I use this UPS on these servers, my concern is that it will damage or destroy the PSU's. I can't find anything to confirm this, or state that it's safe, so any assistance would be great.
