Can ML310G3 support RAID 1 system disk
I am installing a new ML310G3 with two 80Gb Sata drives.
I want to set the two drives up as a RAID 1 array and use this for the Operating system disk.
I have turned on the RAID controller in the bios, have successfully built the RAID array and said the this is a bootable partition.
Now when I boot the system using either StartSmart or Windows 2003 server, both say they cannot find a partition to install the O/S.
I have checked the IPL load sequence and checked that the RAID controller is the highest priority.
Do I need to make further changes to the BIOS to see the RAID array or can the ML310 not support a RAID based O/S?
