Can't install Linux on ML 110 cause of the SATA card
Hi,
I have a ProLiant ML 110 G? and I can't install any Linux (Suse 11.1) on that device because Linux doesn't found the harddrives attached to the Promise SATA Controller (S150 SX4). The onboard SATA connectors can't be activated in the BIOS and I don't know exactly what ML 110 I have to upgrade the bios. I can't find a page on the HP website where I can enter my serial number or product number to get this information. The HP chat denies me caused of the product number doesn't belong to the devices are supported in the chat.
So currently the HP website isn't a great help for me and I'm looking forward for every help.
I only want to install a Linux Suse on the server and I can't work with the SATA harddrives doesn't matter what controller I use.
Thx
Ben
