Hi
I would like to run exchange 2007 on my ML370 G3 and hence require the 64-bit version of windows.
Can the ML370 G3 CPUs be upgraded (currently 2 xeon 3.06Mhz) to support EMT64, or do I have to buy a new server?
Do the ML370 G4 an G5 support 64-bit?
Thanks
Jeff

Solution
Seems to be No Jeff,
Hp say that your G3 server can't install windows 2003 x64
The processors of the ML370G3 are Intel Xeon Processor 2.8/3.06 GHz/533 MHz, see HP quickspec, so you can't change their with a supported CPU EMT64 capable.
Here there are the ProLiant Server Support Matrix for Windows platforms:

Hope this help,
P

Re: Can the ML370 G3 be upgrdaded to support 64-bit?
The ML370 G3 does not support EM64T or WS03 x64.
The ML370 G4 and ML370 G5 definitely support EM64T and WS03 x64.
