Change OS Type in LCD Display

I have recently purchased an LH3r which had no software disks & I have successfully installed Suse Linux 8.0 on it. Now I wish to change the OS Type in the LCD display from NT 5.0 & I lack the CDROM utilities to do so. Is there a floppy bootable utility that will do this?

I am not aware of any utility on the CD(navigator)or a floppy. I am not positve this will work but you could clear CMOS flash the bios and then clear the hardware event log. The only utility I have seen is one to change the serial number on the front panel.
