Change PXE boot NIC Device

Hello,
my BL480c c-class server has 10 eth devices. 4 are embedded (eth0 - eth3). May i know how can i change the default PXE boot device, which is configured to be eth0, to another eth device? for example eth8?

Re: Change PXE boot NIC Device

Verify in BIOS / system options / NIC port PXE

Good luck.

Re: Change PXE boot NIC Device

Hi,
my server has 4 embedded NIC and 6 more external NICs. however, i want to set the PXE boot NIC to one of the 6 external ones, but i can only see the option to set either 1 of the 4 embedded.

Re: Change PXE boot NIC Device

Normally at boot post, you see a combination like Ctrl-S to enter NIC Bios for setting those features.

Depend of NIC brand and chipset.

Don't forget to set boot order in Bios after that.

Good Luck
