Change Scsi HDD
I have a Proliant ML370 G3. I need to replace SCSI hard drive under warranty. The drive i've received is different. The installed one is configured like this : No ID jumper, jumper on NARROW/WIDE and jumper on IDD RESET.
I'm unable to configure the new one because I don't have any Narrow/wide and IDD reset jumper on this one. The new one is a 146.8GB Ultra320 SCSI Model BD14697B58. Thanks for your help !

Re: Change Scsi HDD
But - isn't this a hotplug drive ? Just remove the bad one, plug in the new one, Smart Array Controller does the rest ?

Re: Change Scsi HDD
No, it's not a hotswap. Now, I have 3 disks : 1- OS Disk (Windows 2k Srv)
2- Data disk (with Imminent failue message)
3- New one
Now, I need to send data over the new one and keep Shared folder ...
