Compaq Evo D320 Slim Tower

I have loaded XP Professional and cannot see the internet. I have downloaded all the drivers from HP website and loaded them. I am still getting "Ethernet" - No Driver. I have tested the cable and modem - All working fine. Is there another driver or have I missed something along the way?
