Is it normal for the UID to be on a slow, steady blink on the DL100 Storage Server? I can turn the light on solid by holding the button, but nothing turns it completely off.
The Status page is complaining that the UPS Service is stopped. I have disabled the UPS service since one is not attached, but that just created a warning (which I cleared). Other than that, there are no system indications that would trigger the UID to blink.
Thank you.

Solution
I think the state "UID on - not blinking" ist "normal" - just showing: machine is running.
You can change it so "blinking" just to identify the system - probably there is another UID LED on the backside of the server - so you can identify the machine even in huge racks of identical machines.
best regards
Th. Jalas
