DL140 Powering Off

I have a HP Proliant DL140 that has been powering off on its own about once a month. It has done this about 6 times. These reboots are at random times during the day. There is nothing in the Event Log that suggests that there is a problem that is causing the server to shut down. Only the following Event ID is logged.

Event Source: EventLog
Event Category: None

The previous system shutdown at 2:03:09 PM on 11\4\2005 was unexpected.

Re: DL140 Powering Off

I'm having the same problem. We bought 4 DL140 G2's a couple of weeks ago. Two of them seem to be fine, but the other two are powering off randomly - to the point where I can't even get the OS installed.

I've tried reseating the memory, psu, etc to no avail. I've also tried flashing the firmware because we had a similar problem with a batch of G1's, but when I try to flash the firmware on the G2's it just returns "033".

I've logged a call with HP and they're sending replacement psu's but I'm not confident this will resolve the problem.

Any ideas anyone?
