DL145 G1 Server
Hello,
I have a brand new machine onto which I am looking to clean install windows server 2003 64 bit.
I am using an external usb dvd/cd rw drive.
I am not able to boot with this drive. I have another dl145 machine and that one I am able to boot with.
I looked boot priority in the bios management and found only hard drive, pxe boot nic 1 device, pxe boot nic 2 device.
Seemingly usb was recognized at boot time.
I didn't check the bios version of the dl145 box with which this cdrom worked. The bios date of this machine is 3/22/05.
Any help would be appreciated.
