DL180 (G5) - Add disk to Raid 5
Hi -
One of the disks in the RAID 5 array has failed. It's running the inbuilt E200 array controller.
I have added two new drives and I'd like to configure these into the RAID 5 array. The ACU shows the spare drives, but there's no option to add these to active array. Any ideas?
Any help would be most appreciated.

Re: DL180 (G5) - Add disk to Raid 5
For clarity...
Box 1 : Bay 1, 250 GB (SATA)
Box 1 : Bay 2, 250 GB (SATA)
Box 1 : Bay 3, ( Failed ) (SATA)
Box 1 : Bay 4, 250 GB (SATA)
I just need to add the drive in BAY 4 to the array, and trigger a rebuild....

Re: DL180 (G5) - Add disk to Raid 5
No-one was able to help, so I thought it would be useful to post the fix for this problem.
When the drive is faulty and has not been replaced the ACU doesn't give you the option to add a spare, even thou there maybe a spare within the same box / array.
For this, we swapped the faulty drive and the array rebuilt. This enabled the options within the ACU to add the spare to the array.
The moral? If it's broke, there's no way to fix it through the ACU.
