DL360 G4 - Will a 2GB memory 266MHz PC2100 work?

Will a 2GB memory 266MHz PC2100 work on a DL360 G4? Thanks

Robert:

Assuming your taking about the standard 360G4 which comes standard with DDR 333Mhz, I would say that the 266Mhz DDR DIMMS might work. It probably would not do anything to the system if you were to try. I've never seen a systemboard get hosed from the wrong memory speed.

If you have a G4p, then the standard is DDR2 400Mhz, so it's a no go. The system board would most likely reject it.
