DL360 Video Problem

I have a DL360 1U Stock that has a failing intergrated video chipset. I am having difficulty getting a 3rd party PCI video card to work as a solution. I am trying to use an Nvidia TNT2 PCI. There seems to be an issue with the Ultra3 controller, it hangs durring post with an only a 20% lock out rate. Dip 1 is in the ON position to deactivate the onboard, I seem to lost. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
