DL360 intermittent problems

I have a DL360 that intermittently sees the hard drives. I have tried it with and without the array controller and still have the same problem. I reseated the backplane and it doesnt see the drive but pull the drive out and push it back in sometimes the server sees it and sometimes it doesnt. If it does see it and I go to install an OS it crashes with drive errors. Both the drives are good and are working with other servers. Any ideas?

This was a known issue of DL360. The problem wasn't properly in the backplane but in the container of the hot swap disk. I tried several hotswap containers until I find the right ones!

I tried using the hard drives in another server and they worked fine. I also tried new hard drives that worked in another server on the DL360 and they failed. Are you suggesting that the drive cage is bad?
