DL380 G3 Fan uppgrade

Hi All,

Is it possible to use a DL380 G4 Redundant Fan Option Kit in a DL380 G3? I'm adding a second processor and I need the cooling but I can't source any G3 Fans.

Yes. The redundant fan kit for the G3 and G4 both have the same product code (293048-B21).

Hi,

you should also update the ROMPaq and Drivers. HP Changed the Power Consumption of the CPUs to reduce the heat they are producing.
