DL380 G3 IO Fan 4 failure

Hi, can anyone help please, I have a DL380 G3 which despite replacing Fan 4 and powering down it is still showing as failed (amber led is on the fan).

I'm suspecting a motherboard issue but need to be sure first.

Sometimes a pin on the system board's fan socket becomes bent. Remove the 'failed' fan, and check the pins. Usually, shutting down and unplugging the server, and straightening the pin with a small screwdriver is all it takes to correct the fault.

Thanks for that, I did check the pins and all look ok. In the past I've had two of these machines that showed multi fan failures and on both it turned out to be a failed system board.
