DL380 G5 No amber LED on SAS drives
Just received a brand new DL380 G5 with a P400 controller. Everything is fine on the sever. Can install OS run the ACU 100% no issues except for that the amber LED activity is not there when the OS starts up.... When I use the ACU to identify the drives the blue LED lights up... Any suggestions???

Re: DL380 G5 No amber LED on SAS drives
It sounds like a fairly common issue--a faulty LED on the SCSI backplane.

Called HP Tech Support and they are shipping a new backplane...
Let's see if this solves the problem...
