DL380 G5 performance monitor can't use logic disk D:

We have 3 DL380G5 servers, we need check disk performance, so we set performance monitor monitoring logic disk D:, but no information collect to, anyone have this problem?

In a command shell, run;

diskperf -y

using an administrator account, then reboot the box.

When the diskperf was run, was there any error message?

diskperf modifies the Microsoft Windows registry, hence the OS must be restarted (rebooted) for this to take effect. Also, it must be restarted without using any "last known good", or similar, option.

Had a bit more of a think about it. You might need to use "diskperf -yv" for logical drives in addition to physical drives.

Don't recall if this applies to all Windows server systems, or just win2k, or ...
